Mods not showing up

For some reason I can't get newly downloaded mods to work. It says I'm subscribed on Steam, but it does not show up in the launcher. All my old mods work, and it downloads in the right folder it just doesn't show up in the launcher. Can someone please help I've been trying to fix it for half an hour.

had the same issue just now and yesterday when me and the bf were trying to use a mod, however he downloaded his just fine so i guess its random? though it impacts more then just me atleast lol.

okay so i figured it out
1. Go to Docuiments / paradox / hoi4
2. delete your mod folder there.
3. unsub if you have like 50-70 mods your subbed to, any you wont use (if you got that many as i had)
4. Open the hoi4 launcher and click the refresh button on the "All installed mods" page (near the search bar for mods that are installed) it will refresh all mods you have and install them again this will fix your issue, atleast i hope, it did fix mine and i have all the mods i tried to install.. installed now and working lol. :)

Thanks lad, now it's working

It didn't work for me but I do have the same issue but I also have a mod that was taken off the workshop that is for some reason still in my launcher even though I have deleted the specific mod and also turned off cloud sync when fully deleting hoi4 and reinstalling it and I think that is preventing the mods from loading

it's a little more extreme than what they suggested to do, but it works for me:
- unsubscribe from all mods (you can favorite them before doing that so you know what mods to reinstall)
- go to paradox/hoi4 and delete .launcher-cache
- open hoi4 launcher, go to all installed mods tab, verify it is empty, then close hoi4
- resubscribe to your mods (sorry you have to download them)
- open hoi4 launcher, go to all installed mods tab, they should all be there now
