i couldnt reccomend vic 3 for any social mechanics, its politics and diplomacy are pretty simple
It's like if Hoi4 you could only watch the industrial production, resource and recruitment tabs.
Victoria 3 is more barebones than HOI
depending on what social mechanics you want, the Crusader Kings series or Victoria 2 would be better
do Victoria 2 instead
So, it's not worth it. Even Tropico 6 is better than Victoria 3.
That's why I've always been hoping for HOI4 DLCs that focus on the economy and social aspects.
It is fine game, for what it is. It is much more complex than HOI4, that is rather simple in comparison.
vic3 is trash and honestly not that complex, you could spend 3 hours in hoi4 building civs, mils and dockyards and you´d have the average vic3 expirience ...

Hoi4 warfare is much more complex than what is in Victoria 3.
So if you like economy… chose Victoria, if you like map painting, chose hoi4…
