kind of bounds and leaps ahead of most WW2 guns
I do agree PDX should have chosen a different names. But immersion in HoI4 is now a completely lost cause.
We have to hope PDX will be more reasonable when it releases HoI 5 in 2050 or 2060 something
It doesn't have wheels so it's a firearm not a gun....at least according to my old instructors.
I spent a good few years with the old SLR (British version of FAL) as my personal weapon and loved it. Long, heavy, punchy recoil, but unlikely to let you down, capable at ranges beyond the 300m usually cited as max normal battle range and the bulk certainly had a positive psychological effect.

Yeah like how the sten and Thompson didn't replace the lee Enfield or garand.
What is more worrying is if they're planning to give FN MIO uber bonuses
You might want to educate yourself.
The FN Fal began mass production in 1953. So its actually accurate to see this gun available!
That saying the Ak47 should also be in the research tree as it was invented the same which was 1947!
