Mapuche War on Argentina

Any suggestions would be helpful, I'm at my wit's end. No matter what I try, i seem to just never be able to take out Argentina as Chile when doing Mapuche focus tree. I've tried mechanized Infantry, non-mechanized, Calvary. Various widths from 18 - 25. Argentina just simply seems to have more armies than me and better ones. I've watched some video's, but most Mapuche video's don't actually cover the Argentina war in detail, and these magical 'open spots' in the Argentina line don't appear that I see in other video's.

In my most recent try, I was doing two column's of 4 Infantry, 1 column of 3 Artillery, and then Arty/Anti-Air/Shovel support's for a 25 combat with.

Chile is a little bit tricky at the start of the game because you don't have overpowered focus trees that give you stuff for free but you have to actually conquer with inferior manpower and industry.

I also failed several times against Argentina because my divisions weren't powerful enough to push.
I finally was able to destroy Argentina with a 27 width Infantry division: 8 Infantry, 3 Artillery, 1 Medium Tank.
Support Companies: Artillery, Anti Air, Medium Flame Thrower Tank and Recon.

Furthermore I replaced the 8 Infantry with 8 Mountaineers for every division possible which is also a lot of help in the South American terrain.
Overall great soft attack, a lot of armor, breakthrough and hardness in one Infantry Division and with all the bonuses of the division design, the planning bonus for attack and a little bit of micro management I was able to break the Argentinian lines and to encircle big parts of their army.

I designed the early tanks as cheap as possible with focus on the highest armor values and at least 80% reliability to spam them out in big numbers so all my frontline troops were well equipped when I attacked.

I guess that stuff like green air and A LOT OF CAS can also help but I usually start to build up an air force after I researched the 1940 designs and at this time it's likely that Argentina will join a faction so I didn't really try it out.

After Argentina mopping up the rest of South and Latin America is not that big of an issue. (unless the Allies intervene) But have fun with conquering the USA and Canada. If you go for the achievement manpower will be a very big problem for the rest of the game.

Hmm. Ty, I will try that division template. I almost never do tanks, but will give that a shot.

have a paratroops been nerfed yet? one of their skills you can spam to destroy any unit in the game because they will completely de-org and fall back.
