Why is no one here playing the Millenial Dawn mod ?

it constantly gets updated and the vanilla game or most of the other mods are super boring compared to millenial dawn as MD overhauls the entire game.

Sure a matter of preference, but why do I never really read about it on here ?! On Workshop its one of the most popular mods.

imo MD is just a bit too bloated with new units and mechanics. Some of the units feel redundant and/or unnecessary, especially in the hands of the ai. Some of the mechanics like the economy feel too restrictive and/or a bit underbaked. Too often i find that there is only one or two good ways to start a nation going.

I prefer mods like Road to 56 or even Kaiserreich. I appreciate how they are more or less mods that overhaul the game without changing too much of the core gameplay. Though, i mostly play full vanilla these days.

MD just kinda feels like it wants to be Victoria or something more than Hearts of Iron but it just doesnt really pull it off.

I run the mod just fine and can assure you, between the fuel getting dcked down and the broke ass economy system... the Mod is only fun with cheats. And that's assuming you don't have to hit cheat cheat cheat cheat cheat every 5 seconds because of these 2 broke ass features.
