what does no template notification mean

its 1937 as germany historical route and suddenly i get notification no template i think it is related to division designer battalions and it just so happened i researched some new artillery. i searched both google and reddit and apparently it has to do with tanks which i dont undestand since to my knowledge you cant add tank battalions to infantry divisions and i dont think armored battalion counts

I’m assuming it’s the message that appears when you are producing equipment which is not present in any of your templates.

For example, if you start a line to produce AA and (correctly) refrain from adding it to your divisions until you have a big enough stockpile.

It means you're making something not being used by any of your army templates.

If you hover over the notification it will say what it is.

You may have a mod causing an issue, or you need to hover over it a bit longer. The tool tip takes a second to show more than just the name of the notification.

i dont use mods and also i just right clicked it so it doesnt matter but i think i equiped my divisions with the new equipment

It'll pop up again if you start producing something else you're not using. As you said though, right click solves that problem.

yuh that popup appears if ur producing say example an Anti air gun, and u dont have AA in all ur templates

these stupid notificatations are super annoying same with the choices to make with political power notification like yeah i get it i can destroy communism i read it now leave me the f alone and the reason i hate these equipment ones is because they know i dont have stars to do it and i just recently learned to right click
