NEW DLC WILL BRING MASS DESTRUCTION REWORK ?

I think that the bomb on the end of the trailer show us that we may gonna get more types of nuclear or maybe some new ways for enjoy the late game , I think that late game weapons are a fine way to encourage players to lost their lifes at this game , what do you think?

I assume that too. I can imagine that the path to the bomb will now be a little more difficult. I doubt at the moment whether this will make it more interesting. We'll see ... also what else will be in the DLC.

I'd like to think (though I'm probably wrong) that it's Cold War, or at least the earlier years.

Trouble with HOI IV is that you can't really go beyond WWII as you can keep armies in the field that are too big and the tech runs out.

It'd have to be a huge DLC though.

Judging by what the trailer gives us which is a castle and the imperial eagle of various countries around ww2 and before, its most likely not cold war.

It's got an atom bomb. Only two got dropped in WWII (and none since) so I'd like to think that's a clue.

Most deduction has leaned toward germany content/rework and nukes rework, though this is speculation

Feels like kind of a waste to work on nukes, every single game i have played outside of the early ones have been won before nukes are on the field.
They would have to slow down the gameplay a lot, which i would love.

Don't bother with nukes anymore as the game is usually over long before they're ready.

And once you get good at HOI IV, it's usually over long before 1945.

Might seem weird but I always play on the slowest setting these days. I like to feel like I'm in for the long haul, not racing for Berlin from 1941.

Probably a nukes/ rocket research plus rehaul of waking the tiger. That's what my gut tells me. Nukes is the last part of the game that hasnt been rehauled since the start and with Waking the tiger now being base game they are definetly going to rehaul the nations from that dlc.

Nothing in the trailer that looks PTO-related (unless you count an Atom Bomb, of course) but the PTO could do with an overhaul. Island hopping should be a pleasure (irony intended).

Most likely it is just one example of wunder weapons…
But it may be so that there will be more things that you need to do to get nukes? Aka delay them more… unles you manage to get some special events to tricker… maybe, maybe…
