I am curious will there be HOI5?
i know this game still giving out DLCs and still being improved and it might be too early to ask this but am very curious did paradox hinted what it might be like ? or so

HOI5 will come out when HOI4 is done. (All starting nations having focuses trees.) But do YOU really want to rebuy content from HOI4 that they will copy past into HOI5? I sure know i don't.

They start thinking hoi5 when EU5 is released… so 5 to 7 years in future.

HOI4 only came out in 2016. It was by far the newest of the family, with CK2 having come out in early 2012, EU4 having come out in mid 2013, and Vic2 having come out way back in mid 2010.

CK2 waited 8.5 years for CK3

EU4 waited 11 years and counting for EU5 but we're getting close

Vic2 waited over 12 years for Vic3

It's only been 8 years next week since HOI4 released.

As a developer Paradox already peaked. I don't think they have it in them for a HOI5 anymore. or much of any future games really. Would only expect smaller releases going forward.

Hi, there will be a europa universalis 5 first. After that, there will be a Hearts of Iron 5, but do not except it this year, or something like this, since hoi 4 has still potential for dlc's.

HoI5 in 2027 and Stellaris 2 in 2028. Just my guess.

My guess is HOI5 won't come out earlier than 2031-2032... PDX keeps extending the lifecycles of their games. HOI4 is doing great, with an average of about 50,000 people playing it daily... it's their most popular game. They won't want to risk losing players quickly. When HOI4's numbers start falling like EU4 did, down to about 14,000 monthly, that's when you can expect it's time for a change. So you'll have to wait a while longer
