Ironman mode to normal mode?

Can i change an ironman save to a normal one?

While game is closed go to Documents/Paradox/HOI and find file settings.txt, open it with notepad, find following lines:

• save_as_binary=yes change it to save_as_binary=no,
  
• debug_saves=0 change it to debug_saves=1,

Save all changes.
Then open game, load save, wait around 1 in-game month and save it again, close game.

Go to Documents/Paradox/HOI/save games and locate your save file there. Open it with notepad and find line "ironman="filename.hoi4" then delete it; somewhere in file will be another ironman line that you need to change from 1 to 0.

Keep in mind, that those changes will void any chances to get achievements.
