Screen flashing...

I know it's Christmas, and fairy lights are all the rage, but when it's playing HOI4 and it ruins your eyes in 2 minutes, the flashing is unbearable.
My entire screen is literally flooded with these blinking puncts, all the time. The game is unplayable, unbearable, gives a real headache after a few minutes. I give up.

Any tips for solving this problem? Knowing that I have already tinkered with the video settings in all directions, with the result being more blurry mush (lower graphic quality therefore), and always too much blinking.

I would like to point out that my computer is recent, fairly efficient, etc.

I think you need to get a new monitor because the game does not flash like what you describe.

Try turning off the day night cycle.

If it was the screen, I would have had problems elsewhere, in other games, playing videos, etc.
I'm afraid this is pretty directly related to the HOI4 game.

Tested day/night deactivation, no improvement.

Launcher > game settings > change renderer; also update your GPU driver.

it can be drivers aswell. or vsync. take a good look at windows and nvidia setting or ati

I know what you mean. It's most likely g sync. Disable it in nvidia settings for this game.

I would like to add incase any1 google this issue, for AMD users especially (or nvidia pheraps), anything that tinkers with anti-aliasing e.t.c will screw with the graphics in this game. I disabled every AMD enhancements and my problem was solved.
