No MIO for modern tanks?

I've taken some time away from HOI4 and after a few additional DLC's have decided to revisit it. I can see some of the purposes in MIO's but it took me forever to mod in the changes I wanted to the already existent equipment producers (Pre MTG). Now with fleshed out MIO's I find after going through the files there doesn't appear to be any MIO's that can add value to modern tank chassis. Most MIO's are light or medium chassis, with at least one Heavy (Russian if memory serves). Technically a Modern is an advanced medium (though with a weight more in line with a Heavy), but with no Modern chassis MIO's, its almost begs the question of "WHY" do modern's even exist now? With the upgrades available through the mio, a medium or heavy would outclass a modern it looks like, Or have I seriously overlooked an MIO for Modern chassis tanks?
