you do not control anything.
Once my puppet, Poland, got in a civil war because of the useless scripted events, half my army was stuck inside Poland, could not go home, and i could not help Poland fight because of the darn limitations.
As Bulgaria i got into another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scripted civil war while my army was away, and i lost.
As Italy, i declared war on Egypt, and it, at random, joined the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NATO and i got my self at war with all of Europe, while it was fighting with the soviets, so the AI is so retarded to get at war with another major coalization while already fighting against another one.

Some retarded scripted events cause national wars without a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ warning while your armies are chilling elswhere, some other times i get people to join my faction on their own, i am the leader you ♥♥♥♥! you get to ask me firts!

what in the ♥♥♥♥ is this ♥♥♥♥, the DLCs make the game more dynamic, but its structure is ♥♥♥♥, you need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ warning before a major or civil war, and you should not be capable of joining a faction while already at war and that faction should not be retarded enough to accept if it is already fighting elswhere.
Guarantees are one thing, but if i attack an isolated nation expecting an easy fight, but 1 second after i declare war on it, it joins a faction that is already at war with another faction, then i get dragged unprepared into ww2.


While Poland was at civil war they were giving me their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ divisions! I NEVER ASKED FOR THOSE!I CAN NOT USE THOSE! FOCUS ON WINNING YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CIVIL WAR YOU ♥♥♥♥! DON'T GIVE ME YOUR ♥♥♥♥!

i can not modify the puppet divisions, and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will just use their armies at random.
Also, if i ask my puppet to give me manpower, they weill send just a few dozens of them!
like 30 manpower.
This crap game should give you the chance to core foreign territory and similar ♥♥♥♥ just so i don't have to deal with my puppets throwing manpower to death with useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ divisions, and so i can avoid their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ focus tree that cause random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to happen, like a civil war, in wich i can not intervene.

Also you need warnings before wars happen, and this ♥♥♥♥ needs an actual diplomacy sistem, and an actual AI.

IF a random events gets me at war with Greece, while another scripted one is giving me a countdown for a civil war, then i need to negotiate the end of the war with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Grece in order to run my armies back and prepare for a civil war.

this crap is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I will not even write about teh state of the AI, i will just say that i just witnessed Spain, without division and reduced after losing a war, declare war on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ European Union alone, WIITHOUT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DIVISIONS!

Like Zen said, this person requires anger management. It seems whenever they lose for the first time, they hop on the reviews and say how bad the game is - Then proceed to play it for ten's if not hundreds of hours more.

In all fairness there are some pretty bad cluster f. due to scripts not working in co-unison. And the more ahistorical you go the worse it gets.

having ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Italy declaring war on me at random with no divisions because they already lost them after losing a previous war against the allies is a good thing?

i do not eat ♥♥♥♥ like other people, the game has a large playerbase, and in this age, (look at minecraft) devs takes ages to release content.
Considering that this is the best geopolitical simualtor on the market, i thought that after a few years of development and some DLCs would make the game better, like implementing an actual diplomacy and AI, but no.

i want to see you come here to my face and explicitely say that having half your army exiled from your country because of an event you had no way of foreseeing is actually balanced.

an example is Kenshi, that game is ♥♥♥♥, i refuse to rate it decently.
it is just broken, and to testify this you can just look at the mods, that do not exists to improve the game, but to fix all the broken dynamics.
It's not like Skyrim were the mods improve the gameplay, they literally have to do what the devs could not.

It, at the same time, doesn't mean that i do not appreciate the level design, the character customization and the general atmoshpere.

I am objective, and i have positive reviews of game that i only played a little because i considered them good.

i want you to come here and tell me that Italy delcaring war on France without placing troops on the borders is a good thing and that the game is wel done.

i dare you to say this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

the best games i have ever played were on disc, before the gaming industry went to ♥♥♥♥.

the older games were pure magic, they still retain top ratings on steam, they revolutionized the videogame industry.
Now i have disarmed nations declaring war on entire alliances in what should be the best modern geopolitical simulator in existence...

It is a functional game that actually works, though. It truly is a great game.

I'm not trying to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now, just merely advice - but if a game makes me as angry as you seem, I take a break from it. No video game meant for fun is worth your sanity if it causes you nothing but anger and stress.

I'll take a second and apologise for coming at you with negativity right off the bat, and again right after. I am sorry for that. Try and enjoy your holidays, maybe with another game for the time being, but it is the holidays after all. Take care.

Skill issue

Polish peasant strike was real, so they've decided to included it in game. Totally manageable even for AI, of course, if you've set Poland on historical path.
Bulgaria has 2 civil wars to avoid: Zveno coup and communist revolution. Red revolution is easy to contain - simply ban communism. You will get warning about coup after completing certain focus; from that point you've around 180 days to complete another, which will unlock coup related decisions.
Egypt - you (or your allies) have generated too much WT. The moment you've attacked, they've got invitation to Allies.

All civil wars are easy to avoid, but you need to check what national spirits you've and if they're buffs or debuffs. Also checking available decisions etc.
Real AI would exterminate most of new players right off the bat. If you don't believe, download ExpertAI from Workshop, set for it for normal/hard and try it yourself.
