some errors are present in the map definition and been logged to error.log bug

every time i try n play the game this error happens i reverted back to old version and everything is fine. for reference i am not using any mods what so ever.

Sounds like you may have bits of a deleted mod still present....if you've never had a mod then ignore that, if you have try deleting the whole lot then reloading HOI4

its just as you say, i had been using a map mod for some time, but when the new update and dlc came out i removed and deleted the mod. now that its been updated to the new version of the game i thought why now try it. i loaded up fine.

my question is, how do i fix this problem? do i just comb the files and remove everything i see that has to do with the mod in question?

best just to delete all game files and do a new clean install, sometimes you get fragments left that that aren't obvious

Documents/Paradox, delete entire HOi IV folder. If this doesn't help:
