MP Ping Issue

I and my friend are facing a unique (probably unique, because I have not found a solution or at least a similar problem for anyone else) problem. Every time we try to play multiplayer in HOI4 or EU4 the pings of the non-host goes sky high (sometimes up to 100.000ms). This only happens if me or my friend is hosting the game for the other. We tried to go to someone else's server and everything was fine. About six months ago we also played and everything worked correctly. The ping goes sky high and constant unsynchronization at the non host. This problem is also observed in HOI4 and in EU4 with the same friend.

p.s No mods, all DLC, newest licensed version of Steam both of us have.

Did any of you changed CPU recently?
Also there are mods aimed to lower mp lag

Currently having the same issue, it helped when i moved it from one SSD to another but the ping spikes are still there and hit 35000MS sometimes. Joining random lobbys or even playing with people from a different continent works perfectly fine. I just can't play with the group of friends :c
