"Road to 56" has pretty much replaced the standard HOI4 World War 2 scenario for me and apart from that i only play other mods like "Old World Blues" and "Kaissereich".
There is just nothing there in the base game, with or without DLC that interests me that much compared to the modding scene.
A mod team can release a version, decide it was a big mistake, and revert or replace. Paradox shouldn't do that (not saying they haven't occasionally on some of their games).
The game has still not all the unique focus trees... after 7 years... There are multiple bugs which are years old and they are confirmed ones..
I have the fear, that the new main dev is not able to finish the game faster.
Even if he has announced it. It seems it slows down and the quality of the content is even decreasing.
Maybe he has his team not under control or it's just not enough workers
This guy makes a good point. I am a modder and I am limited by what systems the game/DLCs actually have. Usually with each new DLC, PDX adds something else for the modders to use.
