Factory Output vs Production Efficiency Cap

so do you go first for the extra 20% factory output or the 10% increase in efficiency cap?

Obviously, they are both good but should you get the 20% first so you have that extra output to cap out later? or better to increase efficiency first then boost output... too much thinking hurts!

If your current production efficiency is above 50% then go for the factory output first when you can only do one. Usually I go for both at the same time.

Eh, what's better? 20% right away or 10% over a long time? If you didn't drop out at school after 3 months, you should know.

@Yaldabaoth, the math is not that simple though...
If you start at veteran (30 cap + 5 for the first tech) the 20% direct output are just 7% de facto increase. Raising the cap by 10% over 40 days will net you more production over all.
But generally you should aim to research both at the same time.
