How do I zoom out in the tech tree

I'm sorta new (don't be fooled about the hours I left the game runing for 5 day while I was on vacation) to the game and i have seen in some people have somehow zoomed out to see their entire tech tree. Is it a key binding? Please help!

There are two current ways to do it. There is a mod you can download: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=766469690 which fixes specific parts of the UI, like focus trees, tech trees, diplomatic view, etc. Then, there is currently a "experimental" setting in the base game of Hearts of Iron 4 that zooms out the entire UI. This includes almost everything, loading screens, top bar, almost nothing escapes from its changes. To implement this change open Hearts of Iron 4. At the mods/DLC screen click Play, wait for the game to load in. Then, click Options in the homepage, and go to video (you should start there by default. At the bottom of the settings (above the checkmarks) there should be something that says UI zoom (or something similar I can't remember exactly and I'm not going to boot the game up again). It should be at the default 1.0x, you can lower to zoom out and raise to zoom in. Enjoy!
