Adolf Hitler Censored?

Just wanted to know why German law felt the need to censor Hitler's face. I get that he was clearly one of the single worst humans in our history but I do think its responsible to grow up and face reality. Running from your history is an odd way of owning up to past mistakes. History should not be hidden, it should be viewed plainly by all and judged accordingly. Just a pet peeve I guess.. The Germans have been indoctrinated over decades to believe every ♥♥♥♥ their government tell them. They don't even the exact history of WWII except for "Hitler was evil". They dont even question why a historical event, eg. the holocaust has to be protected by law, so Germans would go to jail if they start question it.
Which historical event needs to be enforced by law?!

You're playing the German version. In the German version Hitlers face is censored because of how strict Germany is when it comes To Fascism, Nazis, and Hitler. So that's why. There should be a mod to that could show the face for German players.

I have the nazi flag mod from the workshop that shows the swastika. its called historical german flag, unsupported since 1.5 but still works.

Nope. You can use that symbols/faces and so on in games in germany. The censoring is only a paradox thing.

Actually he didn't. The reparations were suspended in 1931 because of the depression. The Lausanne conference was going to cancel them outright, if the USA cancelled the debts incurred by the Entente during WW1, but the US senate refused. This meant that in theory, the reparations reverted back to the Young plan of 1929. The global economic situation basically destroyed that idea, and no further reparation payments were made by Germany.

As for the German economic revival, the Nazi's had very little to do with it. Most of the policies of the early-mid 1930's essentially carried on from chancellor Brüning's administration.
