Demo?!
Hey,

I have never played a Paradox game before, but I am quite interested in HOI4, which is why I have already watched some of the World War Wednesday videos on youtube. However, it is still difficult to say how the game will actually be like or feel... Thus, it would be great if you would offer a demo or produce a World War Wednesday video which is more like a tutorial, cause after watching maybe 5 hours of thw WWW videos I have still no idea how the game will finally work... it is just a lot of talking and clicking - I cannot follow at all, even though the video is nice to watch...

No demos for paradox games anymore. Some say they don't want you to see how the game actually is.

As I mentioned the WWW is entertaining, but it is nearly impossible / difficult to grasp the gemaplay if you are not used to HOI or any Paradox game...

Stellaris is a lot of more noob friendly, I think it'll carry over to HOI4, hopefully.

I feel exactly like you. I've been watching youtube videos/twitch streams for about a month now and im still on the fence about buying it. I've never played a HoI game before, yet I want to try it out and it determine whether I'd like/understand it, but sadly theres no demo. And you could buy it and refund it yes, but considering you only have two hours played until you can't refund it, that doesn't sound like enough time to determine whether you want to keep a game as big as HoI. Oh well, maybe i'll wait until it goes on sale i'm not too keen on paying $40 only to discover I don't like it

well try this. Do you like games like Civ, Total war(but without the combat stages) but want a lot more micro managing / realizm? And by a lot, I mean, A LOT...
If yes then buy it, if you dont like them, well i'd say not worth it.
