I like to go with 3x3 paras with engies and hospital.

Make them width 10 or 20 so they get into combat easier.

Always make your units into 10/20 combat width.

Engineer/Recon are a must.

I actually skip the recon with paras and go with a 10 width unit. Paras have a nasty habit of losing strength if you don't have enough tansports for the divisions when you drop them in, So i've found that smaller divisions gives you greater flexibility and mobility which is necessary in a paradrop, so I've got a 5 regiment of paras, Engineers, and Support Artillery, and when i get it, I add in support rocket artillery as well so that they can punch above their weight.

Yes ive just gone with 10 width as being an elite unit it feels right to have smaller size than inf div and for the flexibility 10 width provides. Ive just unlocked Rocket Art so i'll give it a go too. Thanks.
