First off make sure it says "army/number of divisions and number of transports" on the battle plan arrow. A lot of times it will bug out and not recognize the order by saying "no division and 0 transports." Why? I have no idea. I'll get this problem all the time and it is annoying to no end. Also make sure you have the fleet set to patrol, that seems to help sometimes. But as far as the "no division and 0 transports" thing, I have no idea. Also I think if you try to plan more than 1 naval invasion at the same time, it seems to bug it up too. I'm not the most exerpeinced with the naval side of this game, so if anyone can help clear things up that would be great.
Yes I know. But I get the 0 divisions bug just trying to send 1 division sometimes and this is with the 2nd tier landing craft. Also OP stated that he is aware of the limit and was trying with 10 or less divisions.
Did you declare war to the country you want to invade?
To be safe I also assigned some major ships in "escort convoymode" to the area
The game does not allow attacking from neutral territory.
So if you're Germany, staging a Naval Invasion from Axis Italy, the Invasion can only proceed when you Call Italy to arms.
You say you're playing as Japan. It's a long shot but are you trying to invade Guangxi Clique through Macau? 'Cause I spent a whole evening screaming obscenities at my monitor before I realised that Macau is a Portuguese territory, not Guangxi Clique. They share exactly the same national colour.
