How To Get Trotsky into Power (Easy Way)

OK I know this has been done to death but i have found a simple solution to the Trotsky desire many of you have (including me) I was playing the soviet union in 1936 and was very distraught. every time i tried others ideas to get Trotsky has lead to a civil war that always stops Trotsky's Coup. So I decided to not go through the great purge focus. If you do that in late 1938 you will have a message saying that a civil war is going to happen and if you let Trotsky back in you can cause the civil war to be smaller and you will purge every one of the Stalinist supporters as they will swear allegiance to the new non aligned State of Russia with its capital of Stalingrad. doing this will bypass the great purge completely and once you have won the war you have Trotsky and a new age for the Motherland.

also i recommend that you don't fight any war until the civil war has started/ended as you may have your biggest army be taken over by the rebel country just because you had a Stalinist general

Yeah, I went this way and got civil war when I was fighting in the middle of germany. But you can choose big or small. I won small one with one 24 divisions army. My biggest loss was Zhukov :(

I don't understand why so many people are having problems at getting Trotsky (there are multiple of threads on both forums weekly) .
1. Play as the Soviet union
2. Never purge
3 In 1938 after 4th international Trotsky returns and you are given option of a big civil war to keep Stalin in power, ignore that and mr. bad hair day will be in charge asap.
