Also just a update I successfully defeated the entire UK navy thanks to having 1,500 Naval Bombers assault their navy while they were engaged with mine.
Notable losses on my side were
1 Aircraft Carrier
1 Battleship
1 Battlecruiser
10 Cruisers
15 Destroyers
they lost their entire navy in the battle
1. It depends but assuming you truly want to pursue the Z-plan then it's often best to build civil factories first. I'm assuming ofcourse you will stay at peace throughout the build-up
2. Synth is going to a requirement since you will need the oil. You could invade the Netherlands and take Indonesia for yourself but that will cost you the MEFO bills.
A battlecruiser is a cruiser with a special armor. Go design your cruiser; choose the adequate armor ("armor for battlecruiser I or II). And the new category "Battlecruiser" will be created.
Actually it's a battleship with special armour,
Heavy hulls can mount either battleship grade or battlecruiser grade armour, which ever is fitted determines what type of ship you get.
Similarly, medium hulls can mount medium or light guns. If it has any medium guns the ship will be a heavy cruiser, if it does not it will be a light cruiser.
