Do carrier planes work on regular airfield?
I wondered if you can assign missions for carrier planes from regular airfield.

Im pretty sure carrier based aircraft can be launched from regular airfields. But obviously not the other way around ;)

They work perfecty fine off regular airfields, yes. If you've got limited production capacity and want to field carriers, you can skip the regular variant. Only problem is that carrier planes have like half the operational range of their full sized counterparts.
yes. but theres a catch. carrier variant is inferior than its regular analogue. so use them on land only if you have to

That is true. Though I found that if your playing Japan, it's not an issue. I just produced the carrier variants of everything, seeing as the only missions I had for them where to "Gain Supperioirity over the absolutely inferioir Chinese Airforce", "shoot down like 200 Australian planes", and "win CV battles against the Americans". None of those suffered from the downsides of CV based planes, as I either had so much of an advantage the few missing points of range/etc didnt matter, or I was actually launching off CVs :P
