Screen text really small

As stated in the title, the on-screen text has overnight suddenly got so small that it is unreadable on my screen. to my knowlege I have not changed any of the settings. does anyone have a fix for this? (running in fullscreen 1920x1080 mode)

I know it's a bit late, but I found the solution for me at least.

Go to options and then video. near the bottom of the list should be an option saying "UI Scaline (experimental)" make sure that is 1.0x or something that works better.

message support, they fixed it in a day for me, just had me change some code.

It only goes up to 1.5x and that's still too small.

The problem is for me that when I go anything above 1.0 I can't use the in game help. The links under the cursor are not highlighted and I have no idea where it is pointing. Had this problem for a looooooong time now. Pisses me off too. Can't use the help at all unless I surrender to puny text.

If I hold the mouse way up above a link, sometimes it will highlight it. It's a gamble at best. Shame on Paradox for not having this issue fixed by now.

Support reached back out quickly. Here is how to scale up the text:
1. Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Paradox Interactive\hi4 and open the settings.txt
2. Change the line "gui_scale" to anything you want. 1.5 is somewhat common.

I found 1.75 to be a good size. Happy gaming!
