Scrap Obsolete Stockpiled Equipment

Like the title says.....is there any way to recover the resources/production by scrapping your obsolete stuff? I know that I can Lend Lease equipment to other nations, but consider a situation where I built WAAAAY too many towed artillery pieces early on, the minor Axis powers don't really need them, and they don't necessarily have the convoys to transport them anyway (or I'm prioritizing Lend Lease of other weapons like aircraft and tanks).

Is there anything that can be done to get rid of my giant stockpile of 20K artillery pieces and 100K Infantry Weapons?

If you mean is there recycling, then no.

Lend Lease it to another country that has the convoy limit to take it. This allows you to recycle it into XP for whatever type it is. So if you send only planes to Russia you get Air XP and old guns to Japan you get Army XP.

YOu can also go to the division editor and manually tell specific units NOT to use old equipment and unselect the equipment they should not use. However, be warned. If that means soldiers you may not have enough of the new equipment to actually equip all your units... and it might mean that your units will not have a weapon when they enter the battle.

On Elite units.. units I rarely make... but that are important... I will do this. On other units... i dont care. I want them to have a weapon to shoot at the enemy, even if its old.

The game usually upgrades units, but lets them have their old equipment until it slowly replaces it all.
