Multiplayer unplayable?

I always get lagging behind yet my friend with only 700 kb/s 1km away has no problems

What game speed setting are you playing on? I've found that the higher the setting, the higher the chance of lagging behind and then total desync.

Whenever i don't host i get lagging behind on speed 3

sometimes you have to slow to speed 2 late game when alot of fighting is going on.

The host will never be affected by others lagging. If you've got good internet and they don't, and they're hosting, their poor connection will cause you to lag because they can't handle it. You try and host and see how they go.

When i host and play with my friend we can go speed 5 no problem even if he got bad internet but i suppose that happens because we are only 2

More than likely because you've got better internet than he does. His internet sounds terrible and he shouldn't be hosting. When you play multiplayer games it's more about who is hosting it rather than those connected.

I can't speak for 10+ player servers as I don't join them.
More than likely you encounter issues on those servers because whoever is hosting is trying to support people from various locations around the globe, not just in one area.

When it comes to playing a game with your friend, I would suggest you host the game for better results.

Yeah but still it doesn't make sense that 10 mb/s instantly lags at speed 3 but this guy with 700 kb/s goes fine

Like I said before, if he's hosting, you're gonna have issues. YOU host the game, not him
