I don't need it as Russia, just absoultey roflstomp Germany as Russia almost every single game. Germany doesn't even get a chance to push into Soviet lands. I also end up taking Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungry, etc. I kick the s*** out of Japan as well. If you do the Officer purge immidetly by the time the war starts it's negative penalties are gone.

That is because germans are weak in HOI4 for some reason.

the line was abandoned with the signing of the molotov-ribontrop pact in favour of the molotov line further west so when the germans came no line was ready, i guess thats to show that/ (also it looks like the focus represents the line being manned/used again)
