Hi, i want to know if there is a way (mods or consol command) to liberate some colony to play them like indochina, malaysia, Singapore or Congo. I try to tag a country and make them liberate but it didn't work for those i tried.

Not sure if y ou can make countries sadly. But you can release countries and play them. If you're France you can release both Syria and Libya. Once released, save your game exit to menu, single player load game, then click the save, and change to the country you want to play.

you should look at mods if there is one, either just mod it your self... console commands (or cheats) are usually just there for dev "shortcuts"... heck just write /help in the console and see if there is any remote match O;)

Of course you can create new countries! There is a mod for Croatia in example! IIRC paradox had some mod-live-stream where they created a new country...

Or you can use consol to change between countries. Tags for countries are in steam/SteamApps/common/Hearts of Iron IV/common/country_tags.

You can release nations. You do it in the same tab where you manage occupation type. As an example UK can release Palestine, KIngdom of Egypt and Jordan(iirc). As to what countries can be releasd check the txt file with tags, if it's there you should be good to go. If it's not there you have to mod it or wait for someone else to do it.

Unfortunately none of the countries you listed exists in the current version of the game, there are no tags for them. So on this front you're screwed but there is plenty of others. Check tags and maybe you'll find another one that will interest you.

OP is clearly not talking about actually modding in a new country. He just wants to liberate and play as one. So @OP if you're still watching this thread (which I doubt since it's been up for ages), just play as the Dutch for example, click the flag in the top left, then Manage Occupied Territories at the bottom, then release Indonesia. Then in the console type "tag ins" and you will play as Indonesia. You can do the same for Malaysia. Just replace the Dutch with the UK and then release Malaysia and type "tag mal" in the console.
