Army Composition for Germany.
What Units do you place in army groups as germany? I am thinking 10 Infantry divisions 8 Motoirzed and 6 panzers. Is this good or bad and what can i do to improve?

All depends on terrain and who you're fighting. If for instance you're at '39-41 and trying to invade USSR, I'd strongly suggest medium tanks all the way. Also never forget to remove artillery from divisions asap in '36. Just train your troops until you have the 10 Exp.

Generally I spam a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of medium tanks, and make sure they are supplied, and then go through the soviets with ease. However, if fighting Greece for example you'll need mountaineers and arty. Your mediums won't do any good over there. Basically what I'm trying to tell you, is, that you need to adapt to the situation. Such an army might suffice for Poland and France, but will get rekt by Greece, and those damn Romanians!!! 😂

Why would you remove the artillery? I see no problem with it.

I also added anti-tank guns to my infantry to fight the soviets and that worked really well.

Keep with in mind. A division with so many units will be unable to receive reinforcement and have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ organisation.

use 10 army experience to early on to REMOVE artillery support? why on earth would you do that? sounds like the worst advice ever, lol
if anything, add even more of them.... ^^

Unless you have supply problems... KEEP the Arty Support.

Arillery support does not use up much in reosurces and does great soft attacks... and does not increase width. The most important thing to keep in mind... are stats.... one stat people neglect is WIDTH.

Each time you attack a province you can only have so many troops enter the battle at a time. It is determined by this:

1 Province attacking 1 province = 80 width. Each additional province that attacks adds another 40 width. As a result, if you are attacking from three sides that would be 80+40+40. If you are attacking from two sides then it would be 80+40 = 120.

Having an 18 width unit means you can only fit a maximum of 72 out of 80 width (or 4 units). This assume you are attacking 1 province with another and no additional help. However, if you add an extra unit of infantry or tank or calvary you increase both the HP of the division, the attack values and the width to 20. However, u want to make the unit more powerful against soft infantry... you decide to add an artillery unit (not support) and that increases the width of the unit by 3 (instead of 2 of infantry and tank unit) this increases the division from 18 to 21 and now you can only add 3 units when attacking 1 province to another. Why? 21*3 = 63 width. 21*4=84 (and you can not fit 84 width in a fight). So... u go back to the drawing board and make a perfect 20 width unit and now you can fit 4 units that total 80 width in a fight. However, you want the unit to have an extra PUNCH.

How do you add more PUNCH to the unit without increasing the width?

Add support units. It takes 10 army exp and support units like Artillery does not add to width.

However, u have to remember you need supplies and if you can not build them in sufficent quantities... having too many units of them will mean your units are always understrengthed and not fighting at 100%. It is best to have a few JUNK units that use old equipment and not lots of your valuable equipment. You can literally be destroyed by having your units fight at 10% strength... because you can not produce enough equipment to fit them correctly.

Not every unit should be UBER. I normally have 4 to 6 UBER units followed by 6 to 8 not bad units to allot of average no frills untis on fronts. Otherwise, you will never equip them all! Even then... it can be hectic.
