Question about expeditionary forces

The equipment of the division is supplied by me or the country that lend me the divisions? If its the second I will have to lend-lease them equipment. Also, can I modify those expeditionary division templates?
Also, do they benefit from my own tech? (doctrines and such)

You're basically giving that country control of a number of your divisions. You still pay equipment and manpower.

ANd how do I return expeditionary forces? I see the option to return the ones I sent, but i want to return the expeditionary forces Romania sent me.. because they went crazy and sent me 95% of their forces... and their divisions suck... I mean divisions with 2 light tank battalions? ffs

On the diplomacy menu where you sent them in the first place.

If you are receiving the expeditionary force then their lend-lease helps to reinforce your military, not the expeditionary force. The country providing the expeditionary force sets its reinforcement rate.

No, you cannot modify another country's template.

I meant returning the forces they sent to me, not the other way. But I found the way, its just disbanding the units :D

Why would you disband free troops? Just park them somewhere as defense.

No no, disbanding them is returning them to their country. Expeditionary forces. I have plenty of divisions already and their temp,ates suck, so I want to return some of them

It depends on who has priority for reinforcements or upgrades at their end. Sometimes the AI sends $*** and puts them on low priority.
