Germany always loses

Has somebody seen that germany wins or at least starts war against ussr? In my games Germany can't beat even Netherlands. it is so incredibly weak.

I did notice they tend to lose more often. I aligned with them and USSR capitulated, but have issues with the Allies now and USA didn't even join yet.

Germany trains through Europe in my games all the time (and sometimes almost helps Japan win their war against China simultaneously) but then when the Soviets and US arrive then they generally start to lose.

UK always invades Italy early and then the German gets bogged down, then they declare war against Yugoslavia and it gets even worse.

yeah I have the same. if Germany beats France, Britain arrive to Netherlands and Italy and germany always loses. I think developers have to fix it somehow. Without strong germany the game is not interesting

umm my game as the UK Germany are doing pretty well.. I joined in the war early on and held at the french line with the bulk of the Fench forces.. Basically played out exactly like WWII.. they walked over belgium and the netherlands then walked over france.... I managed to hold on to a port in france and expanded back to Paris for a few years.. Then Italy, then Japan joined in and I had to pull out.

Funny enough USA have not joined in the war leaving the UK, Canada and Auz to fight it.. Auz managed to man up and help me take italy.

But its been a hard fight and really enojyable so far.

Every game I've played Germany is way to strong, They Annex all of Europe, Africa, and either they ally with the SU or they start eating it.

I'm playing as Axis Italy right now. I took half the Baltic early, Germany got the other half. Germany rolled Western Europe. I grabbed a little slice of France for myself. I rolled Africa (Go Italy) which kept all the French and British divisions in Africa fighting me while Germany took Poland. Germany is spearheading into Russia (Just past Moscow) and since I only have around 200 divisions I don't want to get involved in that so I'm cranking out lend lease Artillery, AA, Infantry Equiptment, L and M Tanks and sending them to Germany.

The USA joined and attempted D-Day but I had about 90 divisions waiting for them, leaving Germany to keep 100% of it's strength in Russia. I have another 90 divisions in Africa, holding the whole continent, with around 20-30 holding Italy itself.

We are dominating. Suprisingly Germany fought France in 37 because I declared on Yugoslavia and Germany joined me, forcing France to declare on us both. It's made for an interesting game.

My 1st game with the soviets saw Germany absolutely ploughing through my lines.
My 1st game with Japan saw Germany being absolutely smashed by the end of 1941.

My current game with the UK see's Germany on a level playing field.

I love the unpredictability at the moment.

I typically see Germany get bogged down in the netherlands and belguim, though my last game they won in Europe as my country the United States was supplying them with tanks, guns, and planes, or at least i thought i played a major role in helping them win. At least that is until i joined the allies and starting stomping on the axis. :)

I agree, if left alone - just AI vs. AI, the germans seem to often fail to roll over france (sometimes even Poland, if the brits land troops fast enough). However, they mostly manage to do it without player intervention after some time. The japanese AI however usually fights china forever...

If you run the gain with the instant construction cheat on Germany will struggle. But if I run the game without it on, they have no problem until the fight the USSR.
