(makes it so you are playing as them) make sure you keep game paused and click on the leader of axis when controlling one of them and press leave faction. I dont know the tag for facist USA so type tdebug in console and find the name it will be in brackets with the flag next to it, so once you are back to facist USA you can unpause.
I guess I'd have to defend against around 2000 Divisions that could attack my cores and colonies at any time..
So yeah.. do it better..
Also, it's realistic that a military alliance between so different countries with so different goals wouldn't last for long after WW2.
Did you do anything ahistorical with the U.S?
I suppose people feel they can and that its ok to cheat if they justify it by saying "let's make it more fair".
Maybe there's a better feeling and a better accomplishment by being able to think strategically to outwit and outmanouvre them.
Always these people that say "cheating" is nearby..
Sigh..
I completed the main game without cheats and now I want to continue. Using the console is the only way to do it and if you don't believe me that it's the only way.
Start a new game as America, declare war against all nations in 1939 and then try to win. You're not allowed to conquer anything but Mexico and Canada until 1939. Also, you're not allowed to have any allies or puppets.
This situation would be similiar the one I was in before I used the console to disband the Axis.
Did you do anything ahistorical with the U.S?
Is that the only option, war?
You're welcome to play how you want my friend, I was just saying that I'd be a little bit embarrassed if I openly admitted that I want to cheat against an AI that has no emotions, no ego, no motive, no goal, doesn't care whether it wins or loses, etc etc.
So i used the console to achieve the same.
Would you call it cheating if it was a mod that adds events and stuff?
You'd probably want a mod that makes the Allies fall apart after 1950 if you were playing as the Axis and the Allies were stronger.
Did you do anything ahistorical with the U.S?
Things are different when playing MP but it's just a solo game he's playing - and probably not ironman as that would disable cheating - so stop wasting time questioning how it's done.
And yes, I joined the Axis in 1942 because I wanted to conquer Britain, India and to help the Germans against the Russians.
I just think he hasn't considered the other alternatives. It's a strategy game, Conquer is just one element of this strategy game. I was just giving him an opportunity to see if he could defeat them using cunning and deception as well as diplomacy.
Do you also want a mod that breaks the Allied alliance up?
Maybe you only want things to go the historical route when it benefits you and ahistroical when it benefits you. Make your mind up.
What other ways are there to weaken the Axis?
