Make an AI Nation leave a Faction?
I'm playing as Fascist USA and i completed the game 2 years ago. (currently it's 1954)
Now i want to fight Japan or Italy before solo before i take on Germany.
But to have a chance against them they would've to leave the Axis.

Is it somehow possible to make them leave the Axis?

pause the game, go to console and type tag ♥♥♥ or tag ita
(makes it so you are playing as them) make sure you keep game paused and click on the leader of axis when controlling one of them and press leave faction. I dont know the tag for facist USA so type tdebug in console and find the name it will be in brackets with the flag next to it, so once you are back to facist USA you can unpause.

♥♥♥♥ people wanna cheat to win against the AI? I'd be a little embarrassed if people found out I was cheating against the robots.

Against the whole Axis in 1955 after the end of WW2. Germany alone has 1200 Divisions and then Japan, Italy and all their puppets...
I guess I'd have to defend against around 2000 Divisions that could attack my cores and colonies at any time..

So yeah.. do it better..

Also, it's realistic that a military alliance between so different countries with so different goals wouldn't last for long after WW2.

Did you do anything ahistorical with the U.S?

I suppose people feel they can and that its ok to cheat if they justify it by saying "let's make it more fair".

Maybe there's a better feeling and a better accomplishment by being able to think strategically to outwit and outmanouvre them.

So you're telling me I should start a war against the whole world with 800 Divisions and then in Eurasia (mostly India, China and Britain) I should try to out maneuver more than 2000 Divisions?
Always these people that say "cheating" is nearby..

Sigh..

I completed the main game without cheats and now I want to continue. Using the console is the only way to do it and if you don't believe me that it's the only way.

Start a new game as America, declare war against all nations in 1939 and then try to win. You're not allowed to conquer anything but Mexico and Canada until 1939. Also, you're not allowed to have any allies or puppets.

This situation would be similiar the one I was in before I used the console to disband the Axis.

Is that the only option, war?

You're welcome to play how you want my friend, I was just saying that I'd be a little bit embarrassed if I openly admitted that I want to cheat against an AI that has no emotions, no ego, no motive, no goal, doesn't care whether it wins or loses, etc etc.

"It's ok to cheat because the AI is stronger than me".

I'd make a mod that makes the Axis fall apart after 1950 but I don't know how to it..
So i used the console to achieve the same.
Would you call it cheating if it was a mod that adds events and stuff?

You'd probably want a mod that makes the Allies fall apart after 1950 if you were playing as the Axis and the Allies were stronger.

If he wants to cheat to continue his game it's his decision to do so. This is no competition on how people beat the game. It's a game and it's foremost meaning should be having fun playing it by whatever means an individual thinks to do so.

Things are different when playing MP but it's just a solo game he's playing - and probably not ironman as that would disable cheating - so stop wasting time questioning how it's done.

I-I just don't understand your logic... Why should you care how I play my game!? I don't play in Ironman Mode because I want to modify my game. I don't care about the achievements! For me, it's enough when I have a challenge, but nothing impossible.

And yes, I joined the Axis in 1942 because I wanted to conquer Britain, India and to help the Germans against the Russians.

I just think he hasn't considered the other alternatives. It's a strategy game, Conquer is just one element of this strategy game. I was just giving him an opportunity to see if he could defeat them using cunning and deception as well as diplomacy.

Do you also want a mod that breaks the Allied alliance up?

Maybe you only want things to go the historical route when it benefits you and ahistroical when it benefits you. Make your mind up.

What other ways are there to weaken the Axis?
