3 Not using easy difficulty
4 No mods affecting the checksum

Paradox have stated that historical ai is not required.

but how do i know if it affects the checksum
and i dont even know whats checksum

Basically if it affects gameplay it invalidates ironman. If it is cosmetic then you are probably ok. The checksum is in brackets on the bottom left of the initial launch screen. In version 1.0 it is 8899.

I have read.. any MODS effect achievements. So.. when in doubt use plane Jane HOI IV for achievements and Ironman and +difficltty. I would also throw in that you MUST be logged onto steam and have internet connection when you do the achievement.

Having such restrictive measures for achievements is silly & (imo) stupid... but to each their own...

A few of the acheivements are possible no matter what nation you choose or difficulty.

You need to start new game with all requirements met:
- vanilla game with no mods turned on,
- Ironman on,
- 1936 starting date,
- regular or higher difficulty,
- using custom difficulty: No,
- all game rules allows achivements.
Last 2 - enter "custom game rules" > reset.

If you've done all mentioned above and problem persists, do the following:
- Launcher > playset > click on "disable all"
- Launcher > game settings > clear user directory.
- Then RMB on game and verify game files.
Restart steam and check if you can now play with achievements.

I've done all of the above multiple times. I keep getting the No Achievements message.

Installation probably is corrupted. Do clean reinstall according to this instruction:

Also do clean reinstall of launcher - uninstall it and then look for any leftover folders in AppData.

I would like to add that using older version does not prohibit getting achievements. You might consider that. I do have all of them, and by major part it is by understanding which DLCs to turn on and off, which update version to use, and whether to use historical on or off.
