end date of hoi4

what is the end date of hoi4?
since im in 49 and i thought the end date was supposed to be 48 xD

There is no real end date. You can go forever though you will run out of research and things to do eventually but technically you can keep on going.

END_DATE = "1949.1.1.1",
not sure if its real thou

the game "ends" if 1949 is reached and there are no majors at war.
if majors are at war it will postpone the end until such time as they are no longer at war.

generaly game ends when you decided it to

week ago i had non-aligned poland play , challange? disolve germany , and soviet union , without joining allies or resorting to dirty tricks

disolved germany with a bit allies help , disolved soviets almost entirely by my own , year was 1943 and i decided its "i won the game"

i could fight japan but that was not plan of my play

Last time I played (current version), I have won around 1952, so there probably is no fixed end date.

the game ends in 1948 or when the last war ends but you can play after the end screen
