Is the Tutorial good in this game?
I've always wanted to play strategy games but I feel that they have a lot to learn.
How is the tutorial in this game? Does it explain the game well? or is it a game meant to people who are expert in strategy?

Thanks.

Better than HoI3's tutorial.

No, but as stated everything you need is on YT. Watch those first and whenever you get stuck. Plus you have the wiki in game which helps.

Not horrible, but it leaves out a good amount of stuff. Will get you started and playing though.

If your new to this game, it's terrible, it's teaches you the very basic's, the wiki's dont offer much in explanation on all the little stats in the UI, it gives you small missions to complete and then just goes onto the next.
It's incredibly bare bones and the AI battle plans do baffling things which are again never explained.

Watch some lets plays and tutorials first before you buy because it feels like you draw out a battle plan than fast forward till you win(bascially the worst part of CK2 and EU4)

OK seems that YouTube is the best place to learn.
Thanks everyone.

Meh. Not really that good but it will teach you a few things.

The tutorial in this game is like a quick summary of what you could have done, it's not really a tutorial sadly.

The tutorial isn't terrible, and it will get you started, but this is a game with a learning curve. You'll have to sink your teeth into it, experiment, read the wiki, watch videos (not required, just helps), and be a little persistent. It's a game that can last you for a long time, but you'll have to learn it. It's worthwhile effort, I feel.

A tutorial series on YT I liked is the one by Innocentius, strating with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EuH8O9Fa1s

He plays through the tutorial and then takes the game further. His Poland series is pretty good too. He's not flashy, but he's a good player.
