It's incredibly bare bones and the AI battle plans do baffling things which are again never explained.
Watch some lets plays and tutorials first before you buy because it feels like you draw out a battle plan than fast forward till you win(bascially the worst part of CK2 and EU4)

He plays through the tutorial and then takes the game further. His Poland series is pretty good too. He's not flashy, but he's a good player.
