I Hi there had the same problem! but it's not a bugg the total of men you have in your army on the upper screen includes the ones you are training and they don't count for the requirement!

Not sure I believe the training part. I can't select it and have no units training and Army > 550k. So there is something else missing and why doesn't it show what is needed if it's not a bug?

Have the same issue
it`s pretty frustrating

I think I solved the problem. I remeber one of the World War Wednesday videos they mentioned needing to field 60 divisions.

It worked for me then and I fielded a lot more than 550k

^^yeah yeah I had the same issue but had to get to like 650 some odd k b4 it unlocked. Just keep recruiting and it will unlock. Not gonna lie it was super annoying.

I like how an army of 200 divisions can't defeat an army of 80 poorer equipped divisions thanks to their apparant immortality hacks.

Same issue. Need much more clarification from dev to understand if this is a bug or poor description.

there is no issue, just a small lack of information in the game. the event sais that you need to have 550k manpower in the army in the FIELD, this does not include divisions in training as they are not in the field per say.
So the number you see when you hower over the total manpower in army includes divisions in training that again does not count towards the events 550k

If you don't belive me, look at the manpower number for the army, and then add more divisions to training and you will see the total go up, but again, they are not actually in the field and thus is not helping towards the 550k before they are deployed

The focus became an option for me after 60+ divisions and/or deployed manpower of 650k+.

Soulds like the tooltip is just completely wrong as entered, and the game is actually looking to completely different numbers to figure out if it's allowed or not.

So, yeah, issue. Big issue. Tooltips need to be honest.

SOLUTION HERE:

If you hover on the manpower tooltip it tells you how many men you are using for deployment AND training.

If you want the accurate number you need to go to the top right and select the Army Overview button (alongside Navy and Air). This then gives you a full readout of all your divisions. On this screen, again on the top right of the box is a 'Show Equipment' button. In this box, it shows you an accurate reading of how many men are currently deployed.

Yes, I agree, overly complicated when it should just show in the original manpower tooltip for something so vitally important when playing Germany.
