how do i leave a faction

So i joined the allys and i want to leave it so i can join the axes, how do i do that?

Who are you playing as?

To leave a faction, select the leader of the faction (Allies would be the UK by default) and select, "Leave faction."
Note that this will give you a negative opinion modifier from faction members, but I'd imagine that joining the Axis would probably be a bigger deal.

If you are at war with a common enemy, you wont be able to leave. And you need to have a minimum popularity of their ideology to be able to join.
