Manchukuo Strategy

Been playing as Manchukuo and got to the point where I break away from Japan. I totally got steam rolled, they have over 100+ divisions compared to my 24+. Has anyone took this path and succeeded and how did you do so?

Beat they ass while they busy with China

Getting critical ports is step 1 and iirc the war is declared on you so you can order 66 their ports

How does order 66 work? Do I put divisions on the ports before I complete independence focus?

Do not rush to get independence, do all of the the focuses plus the first attract investors focus. The non-staff the court with Manchus path is easier. Make sure all of the decisions are taken, too and you have enough divisions to hold the front line. Aggressively attack in the beginning and then be more patient and the war should be easy.

You should time the civil war focus until the japanese are near the yellow river. then push down the coastline and form a giant pocket together with the chinese nationalists. crush the japanese and retreat your troops, because in the white peace event the nationalists will take back all their occupied territories. so do not relocate your capital to beijing in the manchu-japanese war.
I waited too long to fire the civil war, now the japanese have conquered parts of guang xi and french indochina, which makes it quite annoying to kick them off the continent. try not to make this mistake.

I used pretty much the same thing in the last patch and it worked perfectly.

And BTW, it is much better to use order 66 on China. I don't really like the trick of 1 batalion spam. I found it is much better to use bigger divisions, to make more transport planes and to paradrop supply. Like this, while using farback lines, you can cut all of their supply around Beijing with minimum casualties even with last stand. And since I don't have La Résistance, I can win against China super easy without using collab gouvernement using this strat.

I guess I'll have to try each of the videos out or come up with a happy medium and let you know.
