Hi.
Since you can justify a war goal pretty much straight from the beginning, you can escalate this in to WW3 pretty quickly if you want that. Question is if nukes are then used or not.
Tbh I am not that far yet. I just compared the mod with millenium dawn and found it to be A LOT better due to the better interface, the details and the tremendous freedom you have in making decisions and such.
I honestly say, give it a try, you won't regret it.
Not sure what you mean.
UI looks great and performance is good, game runs even better for me than the vanilla for some reason.
Tbh, MD doesn't run very well at least for me, I have a mod that lets me manually delete all the irrelevant countries to get all the performance I can get. But I do agree, the UI is pretty good, and I like how much functionality the money system has.
Only real issue you might run into is that it's not so much geared towards war like most mods, but running a country as well; a mechanic that's barely present in most mods, let alone the base game.
This is somewhat true. Yet you can still become a war like state through the research tree.
I also turn off my mods sometimes and go all in with vanilla. But since you can justify a war goal very very early in this mod, I say it definitely is also designed for players who want to focus on war not economy.
Like, dont even try to design a template.Everything is black, you cant tell apart much and i dont even know what i should be doing.
Lets say,i want to learn it.I play a very small country(libya) since i think it will be easy,i mean its only libya.
Then i look at the political screen,oh my god.Like, theres so many diffirent laws and things and it just overwhelms the normal hoi4 player. In vanilla, you would have basic focus trees that are easy to understand. The most difficult are BFB trees and maybe Sovyet Union.
Then you come to cold war...The ui is so bad i cant tell apart research notifications from other ones. They all blend in!
If you understand this mod somehow,i think that it will be very fun for you if you like visual novels. Its just that Kaiserreich is the visual novel limit for me.
I don't find it to be too overwhelming really.
Kaiserreich does not do too much of a difference for me, compared with vanilla and is quite bugged as well.
