Communist China joining comintern.

This is the second time reaching this point in the Chinese campaign when the civil war begins, I called in everyone in my faction, stormed the capital and NOPE! China joins the comintern and calls in the Soviets... So, how do I get around this?

I know that you can just do the focuses to take down communist China early, but I'm keen on doing the path of forming the United Front and then mopping up the warlords.

if communists go down left side ideology focus you're boned. if they go middle they wont join a faction and will try to start mutual co-assistance bloc. if they go right they won't be an issue unless they beat you in power struggles.

Oh well, I'm guessing I'll have to rush down the focus to get the wargoal on it.

Don't call in your faction and usually the AI enemy won't be as inclined to join one of its own.
