The Cold War: Iron Curtain doesn't work

Good afternoon!
I've recently discovered The Cold War: Iron Curtain and decided to give it a try. I subsribed, waited until the installation was done and launched. However, at the final stage of loading ('Precalculating naval distances') the game keeps crashing for no obvious reasons. I tried switching of the translation submod, checked the game files and reinstalled the mod, but nothing seems to work.

I'd be glad if anyone could provide some solution to this issue.

i have the same problem, as far as i know you have to delete the mod from the game files and reinstall, tell me if it works and give me the name of the file if you find it

Solved the problem - for some strange reasons the solution is just to switch from DirectX to OpenGL

ok i will try it, its it normal if it has 4.89 mb? i think i broke something with the files

Steam doesn't like displaying full file sizes on mods over a Gigabyte. 4.89 mb is actually 4,890 mb or 4.8GB.

But Steam just likes confusing people.
