Launcher HOI4 broken

I uninstall HOI4 and Steam, register clean....Launcher still broken, i can't play !!!! Thank you

I uninstalled the launcher then reinstalled from the game files an works.
it worked then stoped playing then updated an not working lol

My launcher now literally fails to load mods 50% of the time. I restart, it loads mods and configurations and then it works. Really, really sloppy.

Go to where you installed hoi4,find launcher-settings.json.Then open it with any notepad program.After find -distplatform : "steam", change it to "pdx".Save that and open it on steam.It should work.

Dear Devs. I were capable of ignoring the launcher problems. Mods failing to load, login failing, everything failing... Just relaunch three to ten times and it will load once. Hell I could ignore the fact it crashes because the first thing it loads with priority ARE THE DAMN ADVERTICEMENTS FOR OTHER GAMES AND FOR DLCs. But now it breaks completely. Just a windows window informing me it didn't launch. Glorious. Please, if we have to use this launcher - make it reliable for EVERYONE. Remove these damn adverticements. We paid for your damn game and we paid for your damn DLCs. We just want to enjoy our HoI4 games peacefully without the damn launcher making playing the game a DAMN nightmare.


Don't get me wrong. I love paradox games. I own many of them. I never minded the DLCs being unfinished. Or features being incomplete. But now I even can't play. Seriously guys?
