Germany still invades me after giving them Danzig

I have been playing as Poland, reformed the commonwealth and then i wanted to give Danzig to the Germans, focus on the Soviets and then take it back, but after i give Danzig the Germans justify a war goal on me and then i have 2 fronts because the Soviets attack me and the Germans. I have been doing the same thing a lot of times before but Germany never justified a war goal after i gave Danzig.

Thats not true. You can avoid going to war with germany by a non-agression pact. To do this you need to improve relations with them while performing diplomatic pressure with spies. Give them Danzig and if germany invades the Benelux you are ok to fight soviets, the I.A will focus in the allies.

No, this isn't true. I've had (fascist) Poland games where the Germans never declared on me.

But you can't join Germany as Fascist Poland? Germany has like a -10000 strategic reason to be hostile towards poland joining their faction, it was hardcoded in by the devs. Unless there's some strange circumstance I don't know of (other then the fascist path where you become a reichkomissariat of Germany ofc)

It is very powerful choice though. Submit, go through that focuses to end. Iirc you can get trendemous amount of cores with soviet defeat, becoming superpower on level of Germany or USA. And instead declare independence via focus and war, just use the client state system to free yourself, build up and retake from germany what you want..

I've only done Fascist puppet of germany Poland path once, and here was my experience; when fighting the Soviets, the Germans would not actually attack the Soviets unless I was already attacking them, and of course all the land from the Soviets was going to me. I did the "decide post war borders" focus and Germany denied both of my options of Ukrainian cores, so I was only able to get the Baltic nations as cores, which is not much. I don't know how you can get Germany to agree to give you Ukrainian and Belarus cores OR Ukrainian and cores around the black sea, but improving relations didn't help me. So yeah the end game for puppet fascist poland wasn't that great- and the focus to get those cores is mutually exclusive with declare independance, so you can't break free from Germany. You can manually raise your autonomy to Free, but you are still locked in with Axis and locked into a war with the Allies and Comintern (if Comintern hasn't been defeated yet)

I found my own post on this topic that was gameplay shortly after NSB release (so granted, no Idea if anything changed since than and I dont recall all details either..)

"Just go for it, subjucate to Germany end let it win war for you, become free just via pupett system (war score was enough for me but feel free ship some lend lease to germans to speed it up) Demand Ukraine and Belorusia in the last focus, restore Lithuania empire (in focus not decision becuase that one needs all territories you give up to germany.. overlook it is not needed in focus, huh).+ grab what possible in peace. you will get huge area of cores instantly making you world superpower with manpower and space for industry to do what you want.."

Like i said before, the problem is when Germany REFUSES you ANY ukrainian cores. Do you know how to gurantee that they will let you have Ukraine and Belarus lands as Cores? They only let me take the baltics as cores, they refused to give me the other 2 options.
