I have waged war against ussr in 41 with major dominance on my side. I also upgrade supply very fast as i advance into ussr. But no matter how i do stuff and how mutch supply i have my troops are starving after passing moscov and the game slows down to an insane grind.
Same is with invading UK. If not done fast enough and early enough its absolutely impossible to do since troops eighter way starts starving relatively fast.
Ontop of all this one have the AI getting major buffs all over.
I love this game. But boy i hate some of the aspects of it too. If i could i whould remove the last major update.
support companies with supplies , field marshal with logistics wizard , expand trains/railroads as attacks advance , use planes if really desperate
you can also motorize supplies
but i kinda hope they do field mashal "supply stockpiling" thing
i mean it not that hard of a mechanic to learn
yes and no , its paratrooper one who gives longer supply grace and it was there for long time but noone uses it
it does , sorry i forgot;o
It makes the game more realistic and gives more options for winning.
Like seriously, don't look at my hours. You can slice it in half because for a long time I just keep the game open while I mod it.
Literally learned the supply system in two games.
If anything the new sypply system helps more new players who often resort to defensive playstyle until they learn the basics.
