Why is there so much hate about this game now?
Suddenly, there is a lot of hate about this game now, like as if the TF2 community merged with this game's community. Most of the hate comes from the new supply system almost 6 months after No Step Back's release. Like is it that hard to just look up a guide to the new system?
Or has there always been this much hate towards it and I am just interrupting you right at your daily routine

So. I have tried for a long time to like the supply system they implemented. And i think many others have too. As it stands i think its not only too clunky. Its way too random as to if theres enough supply or not when waging big wars.
I have waged war against ussr in 41 with major dominance on my side. I also upgrade supply very fast as i advance into ussr. But no matter how i do stuff and how mutch supply i have my troops are starving after passing moscov and the game slows down to an insane grind.
Same is with invading UK. If not done fast enough and early enough its absolutely impossible to do since troops eighter way starts starving relatively fast.
Ontop of all this one have the AI getting major buffs all over.

I love this game. But boy i hate some of the aspects of it too. If i could i whould remove the last major update.

support companies with supplies , field marshal with logistics wizard , expand trains/railroads as attacks advance , use planes if really desperate

you can also motorize supplies

but i kinda hope they do field mashal "supply stockpiling" thing

No Step Back greatly changed land combat, the main focus of the game. Everything from the supply system, to tank design, to even combat width all changed.
For many people, they didn't like this for a number of reasons.

In addition, it's another DLC on a game with a triple digit price tag. I've never bought any part of HOI4 full price, because I honestly don't think they're worth full price. In addition, many of the complaints are derived from the fact the game still has many issues which haven't been dealt with, ranging from Italy's focus tree, to AI behavior, to end game lag. (If the game ran faster you could literally shave hundreds of hours off my playtime.)
bruh dont you just build supply deports and navel bases or just navel invade the navel base
i mean it not that hard of a mechanic to learn
i also wish there would be new field marshal order "stockpile supplies" so units could prepare more supplies for upcoming attack/planed invasion
pretty sure there is one already in the game

I personally don't have much issue with the new system, but many people do. It takes a lot more time and investment to deal with which for the people complaining is considered "micro" or busy work.
Because they're all bad at the game, and can't even invade Poland

i'm pretty sure it's a FM ability from having logistics wizard
Probably the dlcs, I don't see why people are mad. Sure, the dlcs are annoying, but the devs need some sort of income to fund updating the game.

I love the supply system. Very well designed.
Really well made. You finally have railways, tank designer, and a more more diverse range of cw for each terrain type.
It makes the game more realistic and gives more options for winning.
Like seriously, don't look at my hours. You can slice it in half because for a long time I just keep the game open while I mod it.
Literally learned the supply system in two games.
If anything the new sypply system helps more new players who often resort to defensive playstyle until they learn the basics.

bruh i like the paradox dlcs policy it better then like a loot box policy ea has
Probably cause Soviet Union are so weak!
So many people are just salty that they can't spam out supply hubs for infinite supply like you used to with infrastructure. Having to actually build things in advance and think ahead rather than just mindlessly pushing across the whole line endlessly doesn't sit well with a lot of people.
