Best way to break entrenchment?
How does one punch through a solid line of infantry that is entrenched? Is tank divisons the only way? or can you fuse heavy tanks into infantry and do it that way?

You can use the tanks with infantry in a combined arms division just fine, provided the enemy can't pierce your armor. The main drawback is the whole division can only move as fast as the foot soldiers- so your opponent, Ai or human, has more time to throw a division into the gap to prevent any major gains if they are quick about it.

If you have high org and fast movement speed, you could always pull off the line into a fallback line, then reset the front lines after the enemy breaks entrenchment and you push on full attack.

Air power is extremely helpful, too. Attack from multiple provinces, and don't be afraid to pull units from the fighting when the org gets low. Let them rest, then add them back while pulling other divisions out.

Also, if the AI starts pulling in reinforcements that often means some other province(s) is/are now weaker. So you may be able to punch through a different location with a relatively weaker force.

Put a weak front line of infantry, maybe one per province, with a stronger line of reserves behind them. Let the enemy attack your frontline (losing their entrenchment bonus), reinforce your frontline with the reserves so they don't break, and then push into the enemy before they have time to dig in again.

You don't win any fight by being predictable. Good luck dude.
