Why tf can't I see what number of divisions the enemy has?!?!?!?!?

Nearly all enemy divisions have question marks on the box and yes I have the latest decryption technology so wtf is going on here, this makes it unplayable?!?!?!?

If you and the enemy both have max decryption and encryption you need to have radios in range of this troops in order to see the details. At least that's how it worked for me in the late game.

What do you mean radios in range? Never had to do anything with radios before, I have the latest decryption technology and have recon company on all my inf divisions.

Sorry, I meant Radar Stations. I forgot that they are called this way. If enemy troops are in range of your Radar Stations then you should be able to see the details of their divisions and you will also gain some air and naval detection in this area.

Iron man mode bud ;). I'll have to build radar stations on every border province which will be a pain but it's the only way. never needed to before so I dunno wtf is going on but this game is broken so it doesn't surprise me :/

You don't have to build on every province, just build one high level radar next to border and it should have enough range to cover most of enemy troops.
Also, this issue only occurs in late game when everyone has researched maximum level of Encryption as well as Decryption. I don't know why it works this way, but I remember it being the case even few years back.

It's 1941 but I only have level 1 radars since I never have any need of them, these have very limited range and Russia is vast so although you are right in that I do not need them in every *state* but I need a lot of them so I might as well be safe than sorry and build them on every state, only issue is when I conquer another I will have to build more.

if you tell a division to fight another tile, you can click on the battle and see how many divisions are on the tile and some of the divisions in reserves.
