First time playing since NSB update.
I don't own the DLC. I've fired the game up, and I can no longer build tanks, only empty chassis. Apparently there's meant to be an equipment designer somewhere but I have no idea how to access it, and I don't know if it's a DLC only kind of thing. Either way, I can't use tanks anymore.

Can someone help explain what the hell has been done to this game?

Simply go into the production tab, and click on the crossed wrench icon on the tank chassis that you wish to use, and outfit it with the required modules that it wants(Guns, armor, radio, etc), I believe for a bare minimum tank it just requires you to add guns on as it comes with basic armor and an engine in it. You use army experience to modify the tank as you would use air experience for aircraft.

All that does is create a new variant of the empty chassis. It has literally zero stats.

Ah yes, after looking back at patch notes, it appears that the tank designer is apart of the paid content of the update according to the info graphic that was shared when the DLC was released.

Do the tanks you build have appropriate stats? I.e. is it just a naming/icon thing? What nation are you and do you have any of the armour packs installed?

Just to check but you don't have any mods in use and have verified your files?

Yeah I'm on the latest version of the game. The only mod I'm running is the historical german flag.

No, but it's just a flag change and it works fine. Hitler is rockin his swastika like a real Nazi.

It's probably just the icons being messed up, which has been happening by and large for owners and non owners alike. As long as they have the stats respective to their tanks, you are fine.
