Definitely not lol. Though they may be strong late game, not only are they incredibly weak for a great power early game, but they also are stuck democratic without going through a civil war. Any of the other powers including italy can steamrole the us before 1940.

My words are that the USA has the largest starting eco, and the highest possible ceiling for eco

the 4th largest core population, although japan puppeting china also has virtually endless manpower

and the only res the USA lacks is large pools of chromium, which can be worked around with ease as only a few things need it

AI USA is awful, doesn't defend the homeland even slightly, just like italy, just like japan, just like UK (sometimes they actually defend the island)


i don't care if a player as italy can WQ, you can WQ as almost any nation with enough game knowledge and good game plan

the USA is still able to surpass any nation in total economic power, and almost any nation in terms of manpower

I mean, if we're talking single player he is right in that the US can easily be cheesed and defeated.

Otherwise you're right, since the US has enormous industry and a great focus tree. It's just that Germany, Japan, fascist/communist/monarchist UK and even Italy can defeat them before they really get going.

The only person who seems to be crying is you lol. Someone disagreed with your comment and you took it as a personal attack. If you think the U.S is the strongest, that's fine and I respect your opinion. I personally disagree. The U.S just does not have the opportunities to expand that nations such as Germany or the Soviets do. Though perhaps the U.S is the strongest taking only its base potential into account, it can very quickly be outclassed due to the time it takes to get online. You seem to be viewing the u.s as the strongest in terms of multiplayer where there's rules and other players to keep the non democratic powers in check. Based on the wording of the comment, I took it as which is the strongest in single player.

If the Soviet union wins Germany and gets the comecon stuff(and finishes industralizing) I think they can actually surpass the Americans in resources and industry, since they will get incredibly much from their satellites thanks to the comecon focus. So I think that a SU that wins Germany is stronger than a Germany that wins the SU.
