Question about training puppet's divisions
If I copy my puppet's division template and decide to train those divisions, is the manpower and equipment taken from the puppet? By that I mean that the puppet supplies these divisions and gives its manpower to them or is that taken from me?

Yes the puppet will provide either 100%, 90% or 70% of the manpower for division based on their autonomy level, you provide the rest of the manpower and all the equipment.

Facists have a different autonomy system and so the manpower split is not the same.

Yes most of the manpower will come from the puppet and the overlord also provides a small amount for the division too

If you mouse-over the equipment bar of the division in the training que you can see how much manpower each provides (is required).

My understanding is that you, the player, provides the equipment.

But shouldn't the puppet provide the equipment tho, atleast to some extent since its still their divisions that I am training?

for divisions that YOU are training using puppets manpower, you will have to keep equipment for. if puppet train troops, they will use their own equipment while training.
if you request forces, or automaticly get forces, from the puppet, the divisions will have puppets equimentfrom start but you will have to replendish equipment due to attirition/battles.

anyway, why would you want puppets crappy outdated equipment, when you can use your own up-to-date equipment?they probably also have few factories, so it will take a long time to equip their divisions....

Puppets cannot produce enough equipment to meet even their own demands let alone yours aswell, at least not in any feasible time frame.

I understand that its just better to train your own troops but I was really curious about it. So if I now understand correctly: If I train my puppet's divisions they will provide most of the manpower for them and I also provide a small bit of manpower, but I am the one that has to supply the divisions.
